Wike only enriching self with flyovers – Former aide

Former special adviser on Media and Publicity to Governor Nyesom Wike, Opunabo Inko Tariah has said that Governor Wike is only enriching himself through the construction of flyovers in the state.

Inko-Tariah said this on Tuesday while reacting to the planned construction of more flyovers in the State.

According to him, other sectors of the economy have been completely neglected, with no achievements recorded.

He said the governor had succeeded in sidelining other tribes in the state by solely concentrating the construction of flyovers in Port Harcourt and Obio Akpor local government areas.

Wike had a few days ago announced the construction of the 11th and 12th flyover in Rumuokwuta/Ikwerre Road Junction and Location/Ada George Junction, situated in Obio/Akpor and Port Harcourt.

The governor, who visited the sites on Sunday said the construction is to reduce traffic around the state, for the ease of residents.
