Kelvin Omoba, the alleged killer of a Keke taskforce member, Clement Elewa has been remanded at the Port Harcourt correctional facility.

This comes after he was arraigned before a magistrate court sitting in Port Harcourt presided over by Chief Magistrate A.O. Amadi-Nna.

The Magistrate declined jurisdiction to entertain the matter and directed that the case file be transmitted to the office of the Director of Public Prosecution for legal advice.

He also adjourned the matter to August 31st, 2020 since the charges are capital punishment.

Our correspondent reports that Kelvin Omoba and three others who are still at large are facing a two-count charge of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.

Meanwhile, Cyprian Elewa father of the late Clement Elewa in an interview urged the security agencies to arrest the other three persons involved in the killing of his son.

Recall that last month, a member of Keke taskforce identified as Clement Elewa was hacked to death by colleagues at Okporo/Rumuodara axis of the East-West road because of five thousand naira as the commission of tickets due to him.
