The Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam said the cancellation of the exercise was due to official state event taking place tomorrow, Saturday, January 25, 2020, in Port Harcourt, the state capital.

While stating that this announcement supersedes the previous announcement on the sanitation exercise, the RIWAMA boss, however, urged those living and doing business in the State to cultivate good sanitary habits by ensuring that their surroundings are clean at all times and emptying their gutters and drainage systems to allow for the free flow of water.
