OPM opens new free school at Ada George Road

The Omega Power Ministries OPM has opened a new free school along Ada George Road in Obio/Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

The new school in Ada George Road is the 13th free school to be operated by OPM across the country.

OPM had admitted 127 pupils at the school after conducting an entrance examination on September 14th, 2019.

The General Overseer of Omega Power Ministries OPM, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere, while commissioning the school said the free school is equipped with modern educational facilities for qualitative learning.

Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere noted that the school is open for the less privileged ones in Society.

He said that the pupils were admitted on merit after they passed their entrance examination and stated that the school is free for all denominations including Muslims.

Chibuzor Chinyere also said that his intentions of embarking on charity projects are not to get media recognition but because of his concern to help the less privilege and because of his burning desire to make heaven.

He went further to say that the greatest investment is in souls, and that is why he made is investing in souls whether Muslims or Christians.

The General Overseer of OPM told the gathering that lack of education was the major cause of crime in the country.

He said that quality education remains the only solution to crime and criminality in Nigeria.

The President of Niger Delta Bishops and Ministers Forum, Archbishop Julius Edire commended the General Overseer of OPM for the free school initiative.

Speaking to the press, the president of Niger delta bishop and ministers Forum praised the man of God for his efforts and confessed that the quality of education offered at the free school can only be seen in western countries.

He encouraged every pastor to emulate the good works of Apostle Chibuzor because helping the poor is part and parcel of preaching the gospel.

The day was crowned up with Apostle Chibuzor Gift Chinyere offering a scholarship to the children of a financially incapacitated Gabonese woman whose children have been out of school for years.

He went further to offer her and her family free accommodation and a cash gift of 500, 000 naira
