Federal High Court judgement on Rivers APC orchestrated by PDP – Nsirim

The court verdict by the federal high court restricting INEC from issuing forms and recognizing all flag bearers/aspirants of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state has continues to generate mixed reaction amongst APC party faithful, oppositions and the general public.

The campaign director-general of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Ikwerre Local Government and an APC chieftain in the state, Hon. Bouch Nsirim in a media chat with TPCN reporter on Tuesday, said that the state’s APC faithful are not by any way perturbed by the high court verdict.

Hon. Bouch said that the verdict was a mere distraction orchestrated by the opposition party (PDP).

Continuing, Hon. Bouch said “That the Rivers State APC is a law abiding party, though the federal high court had said that INEC should not allow the state APC to field candidates, the ruling will be appealed. Our lawyers are on it. They will study the ruling and ofcourse they will appeal it.

“We are sure we are going to have a stay of execution and we will continue with the process of ensuring that we enthrone sane government (APC) in Rivers State. Arc. Pastor Tonye Cole will be the governor of Rivers State.

“The federal high court verdict is not the last court in the land. We are going to appeal it and INEC is also going to listen to the court. Whatever, the court says, we are going to abide by it”.

Hon. Bouch assured that the state’s APC will continue campaigning for it’s aspirants, in order to convince the good people of Rivers State to vote for them during the elections.

He said that ” The opposition party, PDP, are seriously plotting ways to slip back themselves to the brick house (government house), but I assure you they will fail, they know that they will be rejected by Rivers people”

He used the medium to assure APC party faithful and the good people of Rivers State to be resolute and not to be alarmed or disturbed by the court ruling. He said the process is a legal process and that it will certainly come to an end.

He said campaigns will continue in all of LGAs in the state, so that the good people of Rivers state will come out en mass to vote for APC aspirants in the 2019 election.
