PDP Has Laid Strong Foundation For Electoral Victory In Rivers State – Chief Emeh

Gladys Nweke

As more supporters’ groups step out in support of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State ahead of 2019 elections, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters and Strategy, Chief Emeh Glory Emeh, has declared that Governor Ezenwo Wike has kept his election promises in infrastructural and human capacity development as well as in other critical sectors of the state economy.

Chief Emeh Glory Emeh made the declaration when executive members of Vanguard for Voters Awareness, Rivers State chapter led by Hon. Judy Ajobo visited him in his office in Port Harcourt.

He stressed that working together towards the same objective would certainly guarantee victory for the Peoples Democratic Party and the re-election of Governor Wike in 2019.

“I have followed with interest, your programmes in Rivers State and I assure you that your efforts will not be in vain because Governor Ezenwo Wike is a good product, and promoting his candidature will not be stressful to anybody who identifies with him.

“This is in view of the monumental achievements he has recorded in the past close to four years of his administration.

“Your decision to join several other groups in mobilizing support for the PDP and the re-election of Governor Ezenwo Nyesom Wike is a step in the right direction. We are indeed excited about the increasing number of support groups and individuals mobilizing for the re-election of Governor Wike in 2019.

“Governor Wike has shown that he is a leader with strong passion for the development of the state. And I, therefore, welcome your organization on board the winning train.

“At the appropriate time, I will introduce your organisation to other Wike Support Groups like the Grass root Development Initiative, Wike Solidarity Movement, Wike for Positive Change, One Million Youth for Wike, Support Popular View, just to mention but a few and others too numerous to mention.

“The idea is to enable your organisation to collaborate with these existing groups with a view to advancing the New Rivers Vision”, the special adviser emphasized.

Speaking further, Barr. Glory Emeh assured Rivers people that the present administration of Governor Wike presents a great opportunity for the state to prosper and development to thrive while maintaining that, voting for Wike in 2019 remains the best option to secure the future.

“Wike has shown that he is a detribalized politician whose interest is Rivers State and not where an individual politician comes from”

Earlier in his address, the Coordinator of Vanguard for Voters Awareness, Rivers State chapter, Hon. Judy Ajobo told the special adviser that they were in his office to present to him their outreach programme to the three senatorial districts in the state, starting from October 1, and running through November and December 2018.

Hon. Ajobo explained that their programme involves going to the grassroots- from unit to unit, to showcase the good works of the governor and commended the special adviser for the warm reception accorded them.

The chairman also promised that his group will not disappoint in ensuring the re-election of Governor Wike in 2019.
