Ignatius Ajuru university unveils graduate school of business and maritime at St. John’s campus

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education has unveiled it’s graduate school of Business and Maritime studies today at the Saint John’s campus.

The event was graced by top dignitaries and personalities .

The Vice Chancellor of the school, professor Ndimele Mekuri said the graduate school is one of the best in the country with state of the art facilities. He also listed how the programme will be run when the academic session starts.

“Today we have unveiled our graduate school of business. It is an arm of the university situated here in Saint John’s campus, it is going to be a weekend programme strictly for those working and schooling at the same time.

Admissions are already ongoing and academic sessions will start fully from November this year.

The graduate school will host 25 different programmes mainly in business and maritime studies.

The programmes will last between twelve to eighteen months. It is also a modular programme so that once you are done with your studies, you are allowed to go.
Admissions for prospective students will be done thrice in a year.

The school is also well secured because we have mounted a security post where we have trained security personnels to guard the students.

Also, only qualified students who knows what it takes to be in the university will be accepted because we are trying to maintain a particular standard of education.” He said.

Professor Ndimele Mekuri also urged the prospective students to work hard and uphold the school’s name.
