Auditions for the 25th Anniversary edition of the Miss Niger Delta Beauty Pageant have ended in Rivers, Edo, and Imo States, with impressive turnout across the centres.
Prince Sodin Akiagba, Coordinator of the exercise, confirmed in Port Harcourt that over 100 contestants participated at the Rivers centre alone.
He said the pageant celebrates the region’s culture and showcases the NDDC’s impact on youth empowerment and the development of girls.

Akiagba praised the NDDC for supporting the initiative, saying it promotes value orientation, self-esteem, and skills acquisition among young women.
He described the upcoming event as a celebration of the strength and identity of the Niger Delta women.
Winners from the auditions will be announced soon. The crowned queen will serve as NDDC’s 25th Anniversary Ambassador for Peace and Development.
