Governments at all levels have been urged to prioritize the safety and security of Nigerians. A Port Harcourt-based political analyst and an activist, Mr. Eyinmosan Muffassa, who made the call in an interview with our correspondent, expressed disappointment at the performance of President Bola Tinubu since assuming office on May 29th, 2023.
According to Mr. Muffasa, President Tinubu’s administration has failed to meet the expectations of Nigerians. He criticized the Federal government for appearing to prioritize political endorsements for the 2027 elections over the welfare of its citizens.
He said “the question now is that has President Tinubu performed to the expectation of Nigerians the answer is an emphatic no, so much is expected of this government especially considering what they promised Nigerians they promised a renewed hope for Nigeria”.

While highlighting the need for improvement in the economy and security sectors, Mr. Muffassa urged the government to focus on delivering the dividends of democracy rather than misleading the public.
“Instead of this government to continue to deceive Nigerians they should sit down take a deep retrospection and look at what they are not doing rightly and begin to think on how to improve the economy of this country, unless that is done as soon as possible things will be getting worse, Nigerians will continue to complain” he noted.
President Tinubu’s administration is expected to face continued scrutiny as Nigerians await tangible improvements in their lives.
