Prophet Ekong Iteun of Christ Deliverance Ministries International on Sunday warned Governor Siminalayi Fubara about the implications of not adhering to prophecies issued for safeguarding his political future.
In a post shared via his Facebook page, he recalled several prophecies given to the Rivers State Governor amid the rift with the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike.
This came shortly after the Supreme Court’s judgment restraining the Federal Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) funds to the Rivers State Government (RSG).
The judgment also oversaw the resumption of the Martin Amaewhule-led Assembly.
While recalling his prophecy given on February 8, 2024, among other prophecies, he stated, “Your days in office are numbered. You will be impeached because former Governor Nyesom Wike has not forgiven you. I urge you to make peace with him to safeguard your political future.”
“I warned you,” he said in the shared post, “but you didn’t listen.”
He noted that disregarding prophecies from a spiritually inclined servant of God comes with consequences.

He said, “I can remember warning you several times to ignore sycophants and make peace with former Governor Nyesom Wike to safeguard your political future, but I was ignored.”
Iteun explained that prophecy is a warning and a clue to the future and should not be perceived as hatred, criticism, or politically motivated.
He added that it can be prevented if the right steps were taken, drawing his facts from the Bible, where leaders are warned to avoid impending calamities and crises.
The man of God encouraged leaders to adhere to prophecies that come from a true prophet of God, which signify God’s will.
“I urge our leaders to be mindful of prophecies that come from a true prophet of God,” he said. “Because he speaks the mind of God, which has the capacity for fulfillment.”
