The Lawmaker representing Ahoada East Constituency 1 in the Rivers State House of Assembly, Hon. Martins Mannah has officially defected to the All Progressive Congress, APC.
Martins Mannah was received by the State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Hon. Ojukaye Flag Amachree, Party executives and stalwarts in Ahoada.
The 2015 deputy governorship candidate of the APC in Rivers State, Hon. Asita Honourable also welcomed Hon. Mannah to the Party
Speaking during his defection, the Lawmaker stated that the reason why he left the PDP is because he wants to speak out, as the government of Governor Nyesom Wike is a government of deceit.
Manna said that the same way he helped Wike to emerge as Governor of the state, will be the same way he will help remove him from the seat come 2019.
He revealed that members of the State Assembly are always silent, adding that he joined the All Progressive Congress so that he can speak.
