Rivers NYSC Coordinator Eulogizes Nigeria’s Armed Forces

The Rivers State Coordinator of the National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, Mr. Moses Oleghe, has eulogized the Nigeria Armed Forces for their dedication, commitment, loyalty, resilience, and sacrifices in making the country safe and secure for all Nigerians.

He gave the commendation on Sunday, January 12, 2025, when he joined the state governor and other government officials in the 2025 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Thanksgiving Mass at the Catholic Institute of West Africa, Port Harcourt.

The event had in attendance, top politicians, national and state assembly lawmakers, the judiciary, military and paramilitary agencies, captains of industries, the clergy, traditional rulers, and heads of federal and state agencies amongst others.

Oleghe enjoined government at all levels to be “intentional in making the welfare of servicemen sustainable and topnotch in order to boost their morale at all times.

The State Coordinator concluded by advocating for peace amongst Nigerians, urging citizens to embrace the motto of NYSC Scheme by “promoting national unity and integration” in order to engender a peaceful and prosperous nation.
