Osimhen Scores Again, But Galatasaray Held in Europa League

Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen was once again on target for Galatasaray as they drew 1-1 with AZ Alkmaar in the Europa League.

The Turkish giants, fresh from their impressive 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, faced a stern test against AZ Alkmaar. However, the hosts struck early, taking the lead in the second minute.

Galatasaray fought back and found the equalizer through Osimhen in the 43rd minute. The Nigerian forward’s header initially cleared off the line and was eventually awarded after a VAR review.

Despite dominating possession and creating chances, Galatasaray couldn’t find a winner and had to settle for a point. Osimhen’s goal takes his tally to nine goals and five assists in just 12 appearances this season, highlighting his crucial role in Galatasaray’s success.
