Relief International Africa commends Gov Fubara for commencement of Ngo-Oyorokoto road project in Andoni LGA

Relief International Africa, a leading non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the lives of vulnerable communities across communities in Nigeria, has commended the Governor of Rivers State, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for his remarkable achievements in his first year in office.

“Under Governor Fubara’s visionary leadership, Rivers State has seen a wave of transformative projects that have significantly improved the lives of its citizens. From infrastructure development to social welfare initiatives, the governor’s commitment to the people of Rivers State has been truly inspirational in the short time of his stay despite the numerous political distractions.

“One of the most notable achievements is the governor’s approval and immediate commencement of the highly anticipated Ngo-Oyorokoto road project in Andoni Local Government Area. This development is set to have a profound impact on the Niger Delta region, as it will significantly enhance access to Oyorokoto, which is renowned as the largest fishing port in West Africa.

“The Ngo-Oyorokoto road project is a game-changer for the people of Andoni and the surrounding communities. This vital infrastructure will not only streamline transportation and boost economic activity but also create employment opportunities and improve the livelihoods of countless individuals who depend on the Oyorokoto fishing hub.

“Oyorokoto is a crucial hub for the region’s economy, providing a livelihood for thousands of fishermen and supporting the livelihoods of countless communities. The improved access to this vital fishing port is expected to significantly enhance economic activity, leading to increased incomes and better standards of living for the people of Andoni and the surrounding states, etc….

“We are truly grateful to Governor Siminalayi Fubara for his unwavering commitment to the development of Rivers State at this point in time.

“The Ngo-Oyorokoto road project is just one example of the governor’s dedication to improving the lives of his constituents, and we are confident that this is just the beginning of a transformative era for the state”.

The organization however commended Governor Fubara for his visionary leadership while urging him not to relent in the progress and prosperity of Rivers State.
