Cole remains best for Rivers State – Korka-Waadah

A stalwart of the All Progressive Congress APC Rivers State, Joe Korka-Waadah, says the Party’s governorship candidate Tonye-Cole for the 2023 governorship election remains the best in the state.

The Canadian based Political Management Consultant and prominent Diaspora voice of Rivers APC disclosed this while answering questions during an on-air interview on Monday, 20 February 2023; they said the exit of some Party members in 2022 will not in any way affect the performance of APC in the forthcoming general elections.

Korka-Waadah maintained that though the Party was not happy with some members leaving, their exit was never in connection with the Party choice of its flag bearer Tonye-Cole.

“Tonye-Cole is an entrepreneur with businesses scattered across the country and beyond; he would make a better Governor if elected come to the 11th March 2023 election.

“I assure you that the APC governorship candidate will not renege on his promise to create jobs, improve the state’s economy, protect lives and property, provide social amenities, and give attention to critical sectors like health and education.

The political management consultant, however, dismissed the allegation that the APC Rivers Governorship candidate Tonye-Cole conspired with the former minister of transportation, Chibuike Amaechi, to sell off some of River’s assets when Amaechi served as governor.

“The people of the state would not buy into such allegation meant to discredit the former governor Chibuike Amaechi and Tonye-Cole ahead of the 2023 election.

“Though the matter is before the court, am challenging Governor Nyesom Wike led PDP administration in the state to provide evidence of investigation on the fresh criminal suit filed against them”.
