Ekwueme singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu laid to rest in Abia

The remains of the late Ekwueme singer, Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu has been buried at her hometown in Isiochi Umunneochi, Abia State.

The singer, who had died in Abuja on April 8, 2022, was reported to have suffered domestic violence prior to her death.

Her husband, Peter Nwachukwu, who is currently standing trial before a Federal Capital Territory High Court, Abuja, had denied subjecting the late singer to domestic violence.

The accused, who is being remanded in Kuje Correctional Facility in Abuja, said the late Osinachi had died from lung cancer.

Until her death, the deceased was a chorister with the Dunamis International Gospel Center in Abuja.
