One person has been declared dead while three others sustained several degrees of injuries as a building collapsed at the Woji axis of Port Harcourt on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses told theportcitynews that the incident occurred at about 9.30pm after days of torrential rain fall.
The sources blamed it on the torrential rain which he said affected the foundation of the building which was still under construction.
According to them, one person lost his life in the incident while three others sustained various degrees of injuries.
They noted that the rain was very severe and flood had already eaten deep into the foundation of the building.

They added that some of the workers were on the ground making an effort to put reinforcement on the foundation.
They added that the pillars of the building started caving in and the entire structures collapsed.
