Robbers shoot lady for resisting rape in Port Harcourt

A lady was on Wednesday night shot by suspected armed robbers for resisting rape in Port Harcourt.

Theportcitynews gathered that incident happened at about 8:30 pm at Agip Junction close to the Rivers State College of Health Science and Management Technology.

ThankGod Igwe, President of the Student Union Government of the institution told newsmen that the school’s security rushed to the scene upon hearing gunshots and found the lady in the pool of her blood.

Igwe said that the unidentified lady was later rushed to the school’s clinic where she was stabilised before she was moved to another hospital by the Police.

According to the student leader, the robbers attempted to rape the lady after robbing her but she resisted them, making them to shoot her.
