Mike Ogbolosingha, a Port Harcourt-based comedian has died.
The former chairman of Yenagoa Local Government area died on Sunday after a brief illness in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital.
The cause of his death was not immediately ascertained.
Mike Ogbolosingha inspired some of the heavyweights in the entertainment industry in Port Harcourt and Bayelsa.
He also lectured at the University of Port Harcourt and is survived by his wife, Mrs Chime Ogbolosingha and children.
Friends and fans have taken to social media to pay tributes to him.
