Delta distributes starter packs to 112 STEPreneurs

The Delta State Government has started the distribution of starter packs to the 2019/2020 graduates of its Skills Training and Entrepreneurship Programme (STEP) to help in further establishing them in their respective businesses.

The graduates were trained in catering and confectioneries; decorating and event management; PoP, screed-making and painting; production of cleaning agents; and hairdressing, makeovers and braiding.

‪The distribution of starter packs to the 112 STEPreneurs began on 24th June 2020 and will last till Friday 26th June 2020.
The beneficiaries have been placed in groups of twenty to ensure social distancing — in compliance with the state government’s #COVID19 preventive guidelines‬.

The Coordinator of STEP in the Office of the Chief Job Creation Officer, Mr Nkenchor Onyeisi, charged beneficiaries to remain focused and committed to their businesses — and to hit the ground running in order to become job creators in the shortest possible time.
