The Rivers State Police Command said its operatives are on the trail of a truck driver who crushed three women to death in Oyigbo Local Government Area.
The Police Command spokesman, DSP Nnamdi Omoni, said the police are on the trail of the driver of the vehicle.
The three women were killed in a hit and run on Wednesday.
The incident happened at Ukwube market where several women converted parts of the road into a makeshift stall.
Sources said the driver rammed into the women while trying to reverse and later took to his heels.
