‘Please, don’t arrest me’ man who tweeted fake pictures of EFCC PH detention centre begs

The twitter handle which posted pictures of bare-chested boys said to be detainees of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, in Port Harcourt has begged the commission not to arrest him.

The tweet which went viral on Monday forced the commission to grant a press briefing stating that its detention centre is a stand-alone building.

The commission also vowed to arrest the promoter of the said report.

The twitter handle Port Harcourt Events pleaded with the commission not to arrest him as he would make himself available to the commission’s office.

“Please I have apologized, and I will be visiting @officialEFCCph zonal office tomorrow in pH to properly apologize and address this matter, as well as provide any useful information needed to assist in your investigation of the pictures.

Please don’t arrest me….😖😖”
