The Triennial Delegates Congress of the Sports Writer’s Association of Nigeria, SWAN will hold in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on the 7th of October 2019.
The congress is to elect officers of National Executive Committee NEC of SWAN for a new tenure.
The Triennial Delegates Congress holds at the Auditorium, Rivers State House of Assembly, Moscow Road Port Harcourt by 10 am.
Incumbent National President of SWAN Honour Sirawoo is seeking re-election for another term.
In the meantime, the Rivers State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria SWAN, is calling on its members across the state to come out en masse to welcome the guests and delegates to Port Harcourt.
The Secretary of SWAN in Rivers State, Chukwudi Ejimofor in a statement said also urged its members to support Honour Sirawoo in his bid to return as the National President of SWAN.
