Monarch wants traditional rulers involved in sharing security votes

Some community leaders in the Rivers State are now demanding that security votes should be shared between them and the elected Local Government Chairmen

Paramount Ruler of Egbema in Ogba Egbema Ndoni Local Government Area Eze Amuda Ginikanwa while speaking with journalists said it was shocking that security votes are allocated to Local Government Chairmen ” who do not do anything”

“we too should also benefit from the security votes because we are the ones closest to the people ” he said adding that most of the community peace keeping is embarked on by them.
