Upata Kingdom flags off new Central Palace.

The King of Upata Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Eze Dr Felix Otuwarikpo, Eze Igbu Upata 111, on Friday, flagged off the construction of a new Central Palace in the new Kingdom.

The flag off which was well attended by sons and daughters of Upata from all over the country became an avenue to showcase the unity of the inhabitants of the kingdom.

The elated King said that his reign will be for the uplifting of the Upata Kingdom as the construction of a Central Palace by the Kingdom is the first of its kind in the entire State.

He stated that the Royal Palace will be for the people of Upata as the King who would succeed him will not bear the burden of constructing another Palace but will discharge the affairs of the Kingdom from the Central Palace.

The King also assured the people that his reign will usher in development for to the kingdom saying that he will empower the youths of Upata with skills acquisition and give out scholarships to those who are not able to pay their fees in the higher institutions.

The Eze equally stressed the need for investors in the Kingdom and said that he will bring investors from all over the world to invest in Upata land.
