‘Wind blew tramadol into my coke bottle’ – Port Harcourt man tells Police

Police Officers were left stunned on Sunday after a man alleged that wind blew tramadol into his bottle of coca cola.

The man identified as Ikiriko Boma was arrested by policemen at Rumuomasi after a disagreement ensured at one of the brothels known as Bob Marley.

The incident happened on Sunday night at about 9 pm.

According to an eyewitness account, one of the sex workers in the place accused him of taking too long a time than he actually paid for. This resulted in a disagreement with the management of the brothel handing Mr Ikiriko over to the police.

They also accused him of taking extra doses of a popular painkiller known as tramadol which is used by some youths as sex enhancement drug, saying that the bottle of coca cola he was seen with had traces of tramadol in it.

But the man stunned officers when he claimed that wind blew tablets of the drug into his coke bottle.

He reportedly told officers that he did not put any other content in the coke bottle as alleged, adding that it was an act of God.

Our source said that he was briefly detained by the police team and released to his family.
