The have been sporadic gunshots at Owhipa, Choba in Obio Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State.
Our correspondent gathered that the shooting which has lasted for over thirty minutes has kept residents of the area in fear.
This is as cult-related killings in the area have spiralled out of control with reports of beheading by rival cult groups.
Recall that 3 persons were killed in the area earlier on Wednesday.
As at the time of filing this report, the reason behind the shooting has not been ascertained.
