Thugs have reportedly absconded with voting materials in Unit 001 ward 4 in Ebubu, Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State.
A similar incident occurred in Agbonchia in the same local government.
Theportcitynews gathered that over six military personnel were present in the area when the thugs invaded the polling unit and made away with the voting material.
An agent of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, told theportcitynews that it was a party agent of the African Action Congress who aided thugs to do away with the voting material but the party denied the accusation saying its agent had no hand in the snatching of voting material.
