The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has announced March 9 as date for the supplementary national assembly elections in Rivers State.
The supplementary elections will hold together with the gubernatorial and state house of assembly elections.
Elections into two senatorial seats in Rivers East Senatorial District and Rivers West Senatorial District were declared inconclusive on February 23 following violence and irregularities that marred the process.
INEC through its head of department, voters education and publicity, Edwin Enabor said that 5 House of Representatives seats are also among the supplementary elections to be held on Saturday.
