Card reader malfunctioning hampers voting in Woji

Malfunctioning of the electronic card reader has hampered elections at the Woji and Elekahia Estate.

Hundreds of voters who turned out to vote expressed their frustrations over the incident in a chat with theportcitynews as officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, said that usage of incident forms will not be allowed.

Those who spoke to Theportcitynews said that they doubt the credibility of the elections if INEC would parade faulty card readers.

They however, expressed their desire to wait till officials of INEC are able to fix the problem.
