Breaking: Boko Haram lauches attacks in Yobe and Borno State on election day

Early morning explosions have rocked Borno and Yobe states a couple of hours to the opening of polling units for the general election.

It was learnt that the explosions started a few minutes to 6am, with reports suggesting Maiduguri and parts of Yobe were affected.

Military helicopters are currently hovering over Maiduguri town.
