Breaking: Judge awards N300m to Rivers Accountant General against EFCC

Justice George Omereji of the High Court in Port Harcourt has awarded N300m each to the Accountant General of Rivers state, Frederick Abere & retired Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Local government Affairs, Lekia Bukpo, against the EFCC.

Justice Omereji restated that the EFCC has no right to investigate the State government or its officials.
