Nine persons including a youth corper and six final year students of the Edo State own university, the Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma, have been killed at a graduation party.

The party was held at Ihimudun road, Ekpoma in Esan West local government.

Ugwi Mary Martha, a corps member observing her NYSC in Niger State, has been identified among those killed by cultists last night.

Martha, a Banking and Finance graduate of the institution, was visiting a friend who just graduated when she was caught up in the tragic event that occurred after a fight broke out at a bar at Judges quarters, Ekpoma.

It was gathered that three of the dead persons were former students of the institution invited to the party while others just concluded their final examinations.

A source in the local government said the dead were four males and one female while two others were critically injured.
