The Confederation of African Football (CAF) Disciplinary Committee is scheduled to meet via video conference on Thursday to review incidents from the first-leg encounter between Rangers International and MC Alger in the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League
CAF has received video footage of the incidents, which the committee will examine as part of its investigation into the match.
Both Rangers International of Nigeria and Algerian side MC Alger will have the opportunity to respond to questions and present their positions during the disciplinary proceedings.
The meeting is expected to help the committee assess the events and determine whether disciplinary measures are necessary under CAF regulations.
However, CAF has yet to announce any sanctions, as the matter remains under review.
Any decision will depend on the committee’s assessment of the available evidence and the responses provided by the clubs.
