Rivers State University, RSU, has released the departmental cut-off marks for candidates seeking admission through its supplementary admission exercise for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The approved scores, contained in a document signed by the university Registrar, Dr Idanyingi I. Daminabo, represent the minimum marks required for admission into the various undergraduate programmes.
In the College of Medical Sciences, Human Anatomy has a cut-off mark of 63, Human Physiology 57, Public Health Sciences 62, Physiotherapy 64, and Radiography 65.
For Communication and Media Studies, Broadcasting and Cinematography has 40, Development and Communication Studies 42, Journalism and Media Studies 69, while Public Relations and Advertising stands at 55.
In Engineering, Computer Engineering has the highest cut-off at 65, followed by Chemical and Petrochemical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at 51 each.

The Faculty of Sciences has Computer Science at 53, while Biochemistry and Microbiology are both pegged at 51.
In the Social Sciences, Political Science has 57, Economics 44, Psychology 39, Sociology 38 and Social Work 33.
Accounting has the highest mark in Administration and Management Sciences at 47.
The university advised prospective students to check the requirement for their preferred departments and use its official channels for further admission updates.
Some programmes have no cut-off mark listed in the released document.
