Former Sierra Leone international Michael Lahoud issued a bold endorsement of Galatasaray’s attacking choice, naming Nigerian superstar Victor Osimhen one of the three best strikers in European football today.
Speaking on the CBS Sports Golazo Network, Lahoud analyzed Galatasaray’s prospects in the newly formatted UEFA Champions League. He argued that the Turkish champions now possess the attacking firepower to challenge even the most established European giants.
Highlighting in particular the lethal partnership between Osimhen and newly acquired Portuguese winger Rafael Liao.
In his expert analysis, Lahoud placed Osimhen in the bracket of global icons Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe.

Lahoud said: “Galatasaray now have arguably the best striker in Europe right now alongside Harry Kane, Kylian Mbappe and Victor Osimhen. “I stay in business when I say the numbers don’t lie about his impact.
This is not a compliment, given Osimhen’s historic goal-scoring output over the past two seasons, during which he has consistently proven to be one of the most clinical finishers in the game
While there is strong talk of Osimhen’s goalscoring ability, Lahoud believes the addition of Rafael Leo transforms Galatasaray from domestic title contenders into genuine European contenders.
“The fact that Galatasaray have Rafael Leo, I think that becomes the real ‘X-factor,'” Lahoud noted. “He provides a different dimension of pace and creativity that is nearly impossible to defend against for 90 minutes.” I firmly believe in Gala.”
