Boskey’s Killing Won’t Deter Us, OSPAC Commander Declares

General Commander of the Organized Security Planning Advisory Committee OSPAC, Comrade Emeka Onyeocha, has assured natives and residents of the area that the assassination of one of the leaders of the outfit, Ozoemela Stephen Wokocha, commonly referred to as Boskey, will not deter OSPAC’s resolve to cleanse Omoku of criminals.

Onyeocha pledged that OSPAC would intensify efforts in its fight against crime, even as he condemned the attack that claimed the lives of the Omoku zonal Commander and three women.

OSPAC Commander stated this on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, during an interview with newsmen at the head office of the OSPAC in Omoku.

Onyeocha described Wokocha’s gruesome killing as a sad blow to OSPAC, insisting that it would only strengthen the local security outfit and not break it.

According to Onyeocha, the attackers were out to scare the members of the security outfit into abandoning their assignment of protecting the area, but he went ahead to state that the outfit was determined to fulfill their objective.

His words: “We came back to restore peace after years of insecurity, but some hoodlums have chosen to target those sacrificing their lives for the safety of others.

“We will not be scared. Instead, Boskey’s death has strengthened our determination to continue this fight.”

The OSPAC commander further appealed to residents to support the outfit and other security agencies with credible information, lamenting that members continue to carry out their duties despite inadequate logistics and difficult conditions.

According to him, “we lack essential equipment needed to effectively combat crime, yet we remain committed to safeguarding lives and property.”

Meanwhile, Chairman of Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area, Dr. Shedrack Ogbogu, has in strong terms condemned Monday’s attack.

Ogbogu described the act as barbaric, senseless and a direct affront to the peace and unity that the people of ONELGA have worked so hard to sustain.

He urged residents, particularly the youth, to cooperate with security agencies by providing useful information that would lead to the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.

The council boss also appealed for calm, warning against reprisals or taking the law into their own hands.
