The Super Eagles of Nigeria are reportedly getting ready for their game against Portugal next Wednesday as the Super Eagles team arrived in Lisbon after playing in Poland.
At the moment, the report has it that over 20 Super Eagle players have made the trip to Portugal while the Franco-malian Coach Eric Chelle is working hard to get his team ready for the game on June 10 in Lisbon.
As recently reported, the Super Eagles team got a boost when Fulham Midfield sensational Alex Iwobi and Christian Akpan joined them in Lisbon While Samuel Chukwueze from AC Milan will join the team on Friday.
The like of Rafiu Durosinmi will not be featuring in the game because he had to attend of some personal matters.
The game against Portugal is important for Nigeria because it is their preparation friendly match series to get ready for the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The coach also want to see how the players do against a team like Portugal.
The Super Eagles have three goalkeepers: Maduka Okoye, Arthur Okonkwo and Francis Uzoho.
And the defense feature the likes of Calvin Bassey, Semi Ajayi, Bruno Onyemaechi, Zaidu Sanusi, Igoh Ogbu, Christian Akpan and Emmanuel Fernandez.
In the middle of the field they have Wilfred Ndidi, Frank Onyeka, Raphael Onyedika, Fisayo Dele-Bashiru, Tochukwu Nnadi and Abdullahi Ibrahim Bewene. The players who score goals are Moses Simon, Paul Onuachu, Akor Adams Alex Iwobi, Terem Moffi and Philip Otele.
The report added that more players will join the team before the weekend as the Super Eagles want to lock horn against the Seleção das Quinas of Portugal.
