Niger Delta Youth Leaders Urge Increased Support for Tantita

The leaders of the Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum, are urging the Federal Government, the National Assembly and the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, to keep supporting the work of Tantita Security Services.

The Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum leaders adviced this because Tantita Security Services has helped increase oil production in Nigeria to 1.8 million barrels every day.

The Niger Delta area earns Nigeria a huge income, yet it has not seen enough development. Hence, the youth leader is asking the government and other important stakeholders to help groups that have done a job of protecting oil and gas facilities.

This will help keep the peace and make the environment better in the Niger Delta area.

The Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum is asking for a things.

These things include working more talking more and getting more people involved to help the young people and make the oil and gas industry better.

The Niger Delta Ethnic Nationalities Youth Leaders Forum thinks more needs to be done because the area has a lot of problems with infrastructure and the economy.

The secretary to the Forum, Eniwake Orogun acknowledged that more than two thousand young people were present at the meeting. The discussion of the meeting centers on energy, security and peace in the Niger Delta area.

Eniwake Orogun said the reason there is peace now with the oil and gas pipelines is because of what private security companies like Tantita Security Services have done. Although, the people still deem it fit for government to give power to the local areas.

The youth show their excitement about how Tantita Security Services and other companies are doing their job.

The National Youth President of the Urhobo Progressive Union Youth Wing, Blessed Ughere also included that Tantita Security Services has brought peace and jobs to the people.
