Nigerian actress Regina Daniels, has announced the return of her popular annual Children’s Day celebration after a long break. The movie star, through her charity foundation, plans to host the event on May 27, 2026, to honour children in primary and secondary schools.
The 25 years old actress shared the news on Thursday, May 21, 2026, via her Instagram page. She posted new photos and wrote:
“Somewhere inside every grown-up is a child hoping life never loses its colour. May we never outgrow wonder, laughter, and dreaming too big. Come May 27! Let’s make the experience memorable.”
The event, which last took place in 2019, usually features performances by top artists such as Tiwa Savage, Zlatan Ibile, Patoranking, and others. It brings together hundreds of children for fun activities, music, and gifts.
This development comes weeks after Daniels separated from her husband, Ned Nwoko. The actress recently visited Evang Ebuka Obi’s Seraphic Psychiatric Hospital in Anambra State, where she donated money and listened to patients’ stories. She described the experience as deeply moving.
In her post about the hospital visit, Daniels said: “It was one of the most emotional experiences of my life. These people deserve love, care, treatment, and a second chance at life.”

The party is expected to create joyful memories for children across the region. Daniels continues to use her influence to support youth and charitable causes in Nigeria.
