Nigeria’s senior women’s national team, the Super Falcons, in partnership with the United Nations Children’s Fund, are set to take a role past football as part of upcoming cognition campaigns focused on the girl child and polio eradication
Discussions are already underway between UNICEF and the Nigeria Football Association on collaboration aimed at using the influence of football stars to tackle the social hardships affecting children across Nigeria.
The initiative is anticipated to match the selected Super Falcons Gamers Champion campaign by promoting the well-being of the female child, increasing attention to polio, and speaking out against child abuse and bullying.
The reform is unfolding throughout the visit of NFF Secretary-General Mohammed Sanusi in Abuja with the assistance of Lon Hwas, UNICEF’s Head of Communications and Advocacy Partnerships.
According to Hwas, sports activity personalities carry a measure of influence, making them effective voices in campaigns seeking to train families and encourage children
He explained that UNICEF hopes to engage the Super Falcons stars to immediately talk about major baby-focused hardships, stressing that status and fashion dependents often have a stronger impact in driving cognition and behavioral business.
For the Super Falcons, it’s Miles pitching past every other chance to inspire, using their platform and reputation to help causes that can enhance the lives of children, especially younger women, across the country.
