The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Rivers State, hereby announces that the Commission will commence the 3rd phase of the Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise on Monday, May 11th, 2026, between 9 am and 3 pm daily, at all the INEC offices across the 23 Local Government Areas and will be extended to the RA/Ward level on a rotational basis.
The exercise, which is scheduled to end on July 10th, 2026, is aimed at providing an opportunity for eligible citizens who have not yet registered, as well as those who wish to transfer or update their voter information, to do so.
The Commission further calls for support and cooperation from all Stakeholders, including Political Parties, Civil Society Organizations, the media, and the general public, to ensure a smooth and peaceful electoral process.
