The Executive Chairman of Ikwerre Local Government Area of Rivers State, Hon. Charles Wobodo, has felicitated with the Muslim community in Rivers State, on the Occasion of the Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Wariso Wariso, Hon. Wobodo extended warm wishes to Muslims, congratulating them on the successful completion of their Ramadan fast and prayed that the blessings of the season bring peace, joy , and fulfilment in the country.
The Ikwerre council Chairman, also called on the Muslim faithful to use the festive period to offer prayers fọr the Government,particularly fọr the sustainability of the nstion’s nascent democracy.

He further emphasized the importance of Unity, Love, and a shared sence of purpose among Nigerians, noting that these values remain critical to promoting peace, growth and sustainable development in the society.
Hon. Wobodo also urged Muslims to see the celebration as a period of sober reflection, encouraging them to continue to support efforts geared towards the restoration and strengthening of democratic governance in the country.
