The Chairman of Akuku-Toru Local Government Area in Rivers State, Hon. Aboiyaa Bob-Fubara, has pledged to support humanitarian organisations poised to deliver support to struggling persons in communities in the local government area.
The chairman who made the pledge during a courtesy visit to his office by the leadership of Dynamic Rivers Daughters Global, appreciated the group for their concrete plans for positive community outreach programmes.
The group outlined initiatives aimed at empowering vulnerable residents, providing essential aid, and improving living conditions in the area amid the ongoing economic challenges facing many Nigerian families.
Hon. Bob-Fubara impressed by the presentation, commended the organisation for targeting Akuku-Toru as the starting point for their interventions.
He described the move as a welcome development that would promote genuine community development and offer critical support to the less privileged.
The chairman urged the group to extend their reach and spread the interventions to other communities within the LGA stressing his desire for every part of Akuku-Toru to benefit from such positive initiatives.
While reaffirming his administration’s commitment, Bob-Fubara declared: “We are fully ready to partner with credible groups like this. My team will provide the necessary enabling environment to ensure your programmes succeed and deliver tangible results that our people can feel on ground.”
Earlier in her presentation, President of Dynamic Rivers Daughters Global, Praise-Chinwon praised the chairman as a leader who genuinely prioritised the welfare of his people.
She expressed optimism that the collaboration would extend to help more vulnerable households and uplift standards of living across the local government.
The Dynamic Rivers Daughters Global also presented a gift to the Akuku-Toru LGA Chairman Aboiyaa Bob-Fubara and pledged to sustain the partnership for lasting impact.
