Hon. Akuro Presents Official Vehicles to Council Members

In a bid to improve efficiency, strengthen governance and enhance service delivery, the Chairman of Okrika Local Government Area, Hon. Akuro Tobin, has handed over official cars to key members of his administration on Wednesday March 11, 2026.

Speaking during the handover ceremony, the Hon. Tobin said the provision of the cars is aimed at improving coordination, and the smooth execution of administrative responsibilities across the council.

The beneficiaries which includes the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Charity Ibulubo; Leader of the Legislative Assembly, Hon. Paul Abam; Council Secretary, Hon. Oforiokuma Kwani; and the Chief of Staff, Engr. Hon. Atubo Joe appreciated the Chairman for the timing of the Car presentation.

Speaking on behalf of the recipients, the Vice Chairman, Hon. Mrs Ibulubo pledged their total commitment towards ensuring that the vision of the Chairman towards bringing dividends of democracy closer to the people remains first on their list.

She noted that initiative reflects the Chairman’s commitment to promoting effective governance and ensuring that the leadership of Okrika Local Government Area continues to serve the people with dedication and efficiency.

Hon. Mrs Ibulubo added that with the purposeful leadership provided by the chairman and teamwork, Okrika Local Government Area continues to move forward toward greater development.
