Eyimba Fail To Crush Rivers United

In what was described as the most eye catching game of the weekend, Rivers United and Enyimba of Aba played out a 1-1 draw in Port Harcourt. The Abia State based club went into the lead through a goal by Abiodun Joseph, but the home side equalised via Aniekeme Okon just before the break.

‎It was also captured that Plateau United were the biggest winners of the Nigeria Premier Football League on match day 27, as they thumped visiting 3SC of Ibadan 4-1 in Jos.

‎Gbenga Ogunbote faced his former side Shooting Stars in a highly charged reunion clash, for the first time since parting ways with the Ibadan-based outfit. But there was little sentiment on display, as the Tin City boys delivered a ruthless performance, emphatically dismantling the Oluyole Warriors at the New Jos Stadium.

‎Qamar Adegoke help 3SC raced into an early lead, but the home side rallied back with goals from Tarabina Biweribo and Daniel Isaiah before second-half goals from Vincent Temitope and Alao Dabani saw out a rampant win for the home side.
