Other members of the committee include Governors Umo Eno (Akwa Ibom), Douye Diri (Bayelsa), Hyacinth Alia (Benue), Babagana Zulum (Borno), Bassey Otu (Cross River), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Francis Nwifuru (Ebonyi), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Abiodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Peter Mbah (Enugu), Muhammed Yahaya (Gombe), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Abba Yusuf (Kano), Uba Sani (Kaduna), Dikko Radda (Katsina), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Mohammed Bago (Niger), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Lucky Aiyedatiwa (Ondo) and Caleb Mutfwang (Plateau), among others.
The party made the announcement after claiming the opposition African Democratic Congress (ADC) was terrified by its massive membership registration in the ongoing electronic-registration exercise. This, the party said, has spewed a nonsensical allegation that civil servants were being pressured to participate in our Party’s E-Registration exercise.
APC said the claim was false and baseless, and seeks to cast a shadow over the cutting-edge and pathbreaking digitisation of our Party’s membership register. “It is a part of ADC’s disinformation campaign that included the fabrication and circulation of a fake “APC membership slip”, purporting that a notorious terrorist had registered as a member of APC.”
