Receiving the contingent, the Assistant Commissioner of Police Administration, APC Victor Erivwode, applauded the contingent for their civility in coming to present their petition to the command instead of going on a protest which could have been hijacked by hoodlums to perpetrate evil.

APC Victor Erivwode condemned the harassment and molestation of Marshal Obuzor by men of the F-SARS, adding that the petition would be looked into immediately by the Commissioner of Police.

The Assistant Commissioner of Police also pleaded with the Youth Council to partner with the police in information sharing.

He lamented that the state was plagued with cultism which gives birth to armed robbery, kidnapping and other social vices and that youths in the state need to desist from such.

After the meeting and the submitting of their petitions to the Police command, the bodies insisted that the petition will not be a one-off and urged the police to conduct investigations into the matter and bring the perpetrators of the attack on the Governor’s SSA to book.
