Purp Emerges Winner of Nigerian Idol Season 10

Emerging music artist Purp has been declared the champion of Nigerian Idol Season 10, following a thrilling live finale that aired on Sunday evening.

Purp secured the esteemed title after facing off against fellow finalist Raymu in a climactic showdown that assessed vocal performance, stage charisma, and emotional connection with the audience.

The singer garnered the most public votes to become the latest inductee into the Nigerian Idol hall of fame.

This year’s finale, hosted by media figure IK Osakioduwa, featured dazzling performances, celebrity appearances, and touching moments that honored the journeys of this season’s contestants.

The judging panel, consisting of Omawumi, Ric Hassani, and Iyanya, was joined by guest judge 9ice, with all four lauding the top two for their determination, artistry, and development throughout the competition.

In an emotional response following the victory, Purp stated, “This moment feels unbelievable. I’m incredibly thankful to everyone who voted, supported, and believed in me. This is merely the beginning, and I’m eager to share more music with the world.”

As the winner, Purp will receive a prize package that includes N30 million in cash, a brand-new SUV, a DStv Explora with a one-year premium subscription, and a music recording contract that positions them as Nigeria’s next potential music star.

The show, which was broadcast on Africa Magic and also available on DStv Stream, GOtv, and Showmax, has consistently provided a platform for aspiring Nigerian artists to display their talent.
