Amaechi Christabel, representing Zimbabwe, has emerged winner of Miss Port Harcourt City – The African Edition 2.0, following the grand finale held in Port Harcourt on Sunday, November 1, 2026.
The event, which marked the 10th anniversary of the pageant, took place at the Aztech Arcum Event Centre on Stadium Road, attracting pageantry enthusiasts, fashion lovers and guests for an evening celebrating African culture, beauty and talent.
This year’s edition adopted a broader continental theme, featuring contestants representing different African countries. The competition included traditional attire, evening wear and other segments designed to assess participants’ confidence, presentation and communication skills.
Christabel distinguished herself among the contestants through her stage presence, confidence and overall performance, earning the crown at the end of the competition.
Her victory followed an impressive showing in the online voting contest, where she had earlier won the Pageant Pulse Nigeria Fan Slay title.
The online voting campaign generated considerable engagement, particularly among supporters of Team Zimbabwe and the contestant representing Cameroon, as both camps rallied public support ahead of the grand finale.
The African Edition 2.0 also gave the pageant’s 10th-anniversary celebration a continental dimension, placing African representation and cultural diversity at the centre of the event.
Christabel’s victory adds a new chapter to the pageant’s history as it celebrates a decade of promoting beauty, confidence, talent and cultural expression in Port Harcourt.
